World Server crashes everytime I restart?

Question

Every time I have to restart my world server, it stops responding. I've looked around and tried a lot of things, none of which resolved any issues. I have a simple .bat restarter but every time I restart I have to click Program Stopped Responding > "Close Program" to get it to boot up again.

Information on stackhash error:

The StackHash error occurs when DEP is invoked and has an issue with whatever application you’re trying to run ,The error is related to Data Execution Prevention.

Firstly, I recommend you install updates for the application to ensure that the application is fully compatible with the OS that you are running.

After that , you may perform a clean boot to narrow down if there are any software confliction.

How to perform a clean boot to troubleshoot a problem in Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135/en-us

If the error persists, please follow the steps to fix the issue.

1. Click on the Start menu and then go to the Control Panel.

2. Click on System Maintenance and then System.

3. Choose Advanced System Settings.

4. Under System Properties, select Settings from the Performance section at the top.

5. Click on the Data Execution Prevention tab.

6. Select “Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select”.

7. Find the executable file for the application that triggered the error.

8. Select the application causing the error and click Open to add it to your DEP Exceptions list.

9. Click OK to save your new settings.

What OS are you using? What Core are you using?

Please post logs (Server, DB, etc)

Note:

Trinitycore doesn't really "restart" on windows. It actually kills itself then restarts the entire process again (hence why restarter/bat files are required). Windows is more then likely catching this as a problem. You can try disabling Windows Error Reporting in Group Policies.

@cybork if the worldserver starts with no problem without the restarter then my guess is that there must be a problem with the restarter batch file.

@Unrecognized its a simple batch. But when I do .server restart x without the restarter it still gives me the error of it not closing properly.

@ECHO OFF
CLS
ECHO Server Restart Started %time:~0,5% %date:~1%
:SERVERLOOP
worldserver.exe
ECHO Server Restart %time:~0,5% %date:~1%
ECHO.
GOTO SERVERLOOP
:END

@cybork, why don't you use this application "Zaxer's Control Panel" shared by @Suraf.
It works very good, I used it too once never had any problem.

You are able to restart your MySQL, Apache, Authserver and Worldserver whenever those are crashing.
But you can also start and stop those things via this control panel.

This is more stable than a simple batch file.

Resolved the issue via DEP thanks @Death. This issue is now resolved.

Not a problem! Most issues along-side the server executables are miss configurations within the server environment. I'm glad you were able to resolve your issue!
