https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2fikjwHInQ After years of refusing to build one, the social network is finally going to give us a way to express something other than a "Like". Brace yourselves: the Facebook "Dislike" butoon is coming! Despite previously saying the social network wasn't planning to build a "dislike" button, CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed during a Tuesday Q&A session that his company has indeed been working on one. "I think people have asked about the dislike button for many years," Zuckerberg said. "Today is a special day because today is the day I can say we're working on it and shipping it." The exact form a "Dislike" button may take is still up in the air. "What [users] really want is the ability to express empathy, "Zuckerberg added. "Not every moment is a good moment." Facebook has long shied away from building a "Dislike" button over concerns it would invite rempant negativity. "That isn't what we're here to build in the world," Zuckerberg said. Source: FORTUNE - Facebook is finally working on a "Dislike" button! To give my own opinion, I think this is some good work! Think about it for a second, a family member of someone died and people are clicking the "Like" button. But it's not even close to it, it's never funny or you never like it when someone died. Another example: You didn't pass your examns and you are posting it on Facebook and people are liking it.. It's not something to click the like button for. This is the main reason I like to hear Facebook is building a "Dislike" button! Please share your thoughts about this new upcoming button and would you like it? Kind regards, Unrecognized.
